Basic rights are stripped from Palestinians in Gaza and their living conditions are in fact unliveable. Palestinians endure 95% of undrinkable water every day, 4 hours of electricity, 45% unemployment, 46% of children suffer acute anaemia, 50% express no will to live and over 2 million being denied freedom of movement. Hence, the physical and psychological problems are equally disastrous.
This Monday, and Tuesday 15th May, 2018, EAP team finished preparing the Ramadan food parcels and today these were distributed in the North of the Gaza Strip – specifically in Beit Hanoun, Bet Lahia and Jabaliya, but primarily in Beit Hanoun. Our team in Gaza managed to reach out to 300 families, with an average of 7-8 members in each family. Despite the distressing times, we managed to bring ample joy and happiness to the families in Gaza. If you’d like to help, please donate generously. What better time is it with the holy land suffering, but the holy month of Ramadan commencing.
