On Wednesday 12.07.18, Education Aid for Palestinians (EAP) celebrated with the University College of Applied Sciences (UCAS) in Gaza the graduation of 35 Students in various specialities.
The Palestinian society in the West Bank, Gaza Strip and the Palestinian refugee camps in Jordan and Lebanon are facing severe and tough economic situations. The situation is very difficult too for those who did not find the opportunity to have a university education.
Dr Moin Shubib, CEO of EAP declared during the graduation ceremony that EAP will sponsor 60 new students in the vocational programme in Gaza in the coming year 2018/2019. EAP will also sponsor 10 new graduates’ small projects through the EAP continuing professional skills (CPS).
These scholarships are an implementation of EAP’s work which envisions to decrease the suffer of the needy families in Palestine. It is worth mentioning that EAP, with the collaboration of local universities and institutes in the West Bank, Gaza and Lebanon, has decided to provide 20 new jobs to the graduated students from 2017/2018.
Finally, we would like to confirm that the vocational training has become a comprehensive programme implemented by EAP to support the needy families inside and outside Palestine.
