Jerusalem Projects – Education Aid For Palestinians (EAP)

Exalted is He who took His Servant by night from al-Masjid al-Haram to al-Masjid al- Aqsa, whose surroundings We have blessed, to show him of Our signs. Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Seeing. (17:1)

Fifty years on, and the suffering in Jerusalem continues to affect the lives of 350,000 Palestinians. The holy land is not merely a land for the Palestinians – but, it is considered a land for the people, and the predicament has therefore resonated with many. Moreover, the recent situation in Jerusalem has required our urgent support, and EAP has therefore been offering an emergency appeal to the Palestinians in Jerusalem.

This is nothing new though; EAP has been working for the past two decades in Palestine by helping the needy people, focusing particularly on the educational development of orphans and people of Special Needs. EAP believes that education can unequivocally develop the Palestinian nation and induce long term change – particularly from its dire poverty and rife unemployment.

Last Ramadan, EAP managed to provide more than 25,000 meals, 25,000 water bottles and 1,000 food parcels as a continuous charity.  Currently, EAP is supporting 400 families in Jerusalem regularly and making their dreams become a reality. EAP aims in its campaigns to alleviate the suffering of Al –Quds’s inhabitants and to provide essential needs for vulnerable children, including the needy families of orphan students, children with special needs and others who need urgent help in Jerusalem.
