Hardship Fund – Education Aid For Palestinians (EAP)

The Hardship Fund project aims to alleviate the financial burden and constraints from Palestinian students during their time at university. By paying the complete tuition fees or by paying to release the qualification certificate. Essentially, we prevent any factor that may hinder their progress and performance in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.

Some students find themselves half way through their studies at university when they can no longer pay their tuition fees; many remain in debt whilst they’re at university. Others upon completing their studies find themselves unable to graduate because they can’t pay for their qualification certificates, which the university holds till payment of outstanding fees. Therefore, its needless to say that this would have adverse effects on students as they lose their aspirations due to their limited financial capabilities.

We launched this project in order to ensure that money is never a factor that prevents students in Palestine from graduating and aspiring high. So far, we have already managed to secure 50% outstanding fees for students in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.
