Help a Child in Need

Child in Need

Child in Need – Education Aid For Palestinians (EAP)

Child in Need – To donate for an orphan and child with Special Needs is very common and appealing to donors. But when you mention that this child is poor and deprived from the basic necessities to survive, donors are typically discouraged to donate. Ignoring these children and categorising them as less needy is a problem and will create long term social harm to Palestinian society.

Who is the child in need?

In Palestine, most children looking for help come from deprived families and are very poor. They’re neither orphans nor disabled but they’re struggling to go about their normal life because basic necessities are missing in their daily life. Their father and mother are alive but are struggling financially to provide even the most basic necessities for their children.

How are EAP implementing this project?

With ample years of helping schools in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip we came to the conclusion that children in need are the most needy and neglected. After carrying out social surveys and assessments to the families in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, we decided to classify them as children in need.

Following that we began to organise and implement aid schemes to help. We began delivering seasonal aid, compromising of Back to school, School meals and Winter campaigns to give these children as much help as possible.

How can you help?

EAP considers this project equally important as the orphan and disabled student. We are helping these children in order to save them and their families, and help them have a semblance of a normal life. You can sponsor a child in need the same way you sponsor a special need child.

Donate now by paying your Zakat and Sadaqah to help the needy children in Palestine.
